Here are pics from the new worksite. We are making a solid “dent” here. It sits right next to the river.

Last night we went out to eat (where a peanut fight broke out) and then walked around the Opryland Hotel. The water show was incredible.

Done! Looks great – and the sink no longer leaks. I hope to post pics soon of our project at the YES Center. It went awesome!

We are at the following sites/jobs today:
1. Home on Couch Street – painting interior.
2. YES Center in the afternoon. Heidi and Jackie are shopping for toys, books, and wall decorations for the elementary room. Chuck and Jimmy are shopping for a tv/dvd and will install it on a mount in that room. This is a surprise for YES.
3. A group will be going to Second Harvest Food Bank tonight. They will pack backpacks with food, which will be distributed to children at area schools on Friday.
4. The Thomas team is finishing up the kitchen at Madison Academy (they discovered some plumbing issues that we did not previously know about).
5. Stan and I scouted another home, which we will start on this afternoon (as time allows).

Here are pics from the house project – its going well! The Soles for Souls group did great work – and we discovered they did a short story on our younger group members (google the name to find the website). The Thomas team is almost done with the counter install at the school, it looks incredible. We are also going to do a “deep clean” of their kitchen. Tonight, we will go out to eat and walk through the Opryland Resort.

A group is here for the afternoon. They get between 40-60 students everyday (grades K-12). We will be providing supper (Taco Bell). The have tutor sessions, games, crafts and a worship.

We are working at the following locations today:
- Madison Academy, new counter in the kitchen
- continuing remodel work in the Nations neighborhood
- preparing and serving a meal at the Downtown Presbyterian Church
- sorting shoes at Shoes For Soles
Heidi and Jackie are going out today to buy children’s toys and books for the YES Center. They noticed the need when they were there yesterday. It will be fun to surprise them.
The fellowship of the group is amazing! Nothing bonds you together more than serving together.

Busy today. Groups are at two houses, at Shoes for Soles, and at the YES Center.

We are blessed to be staying at Madison Academy (they are on spring break). We are sleeping – and playing – in the gym. We also are using the kitchen – and Grandma Shull is making some great food! A good start to the week. Thanks for your prayers.

We have one home that needs exterior paint. We’re starting late – hope to get done before it gets dark.
